Dear Parents,
We are constantly trying to improve upon our existing academic standards of education. Our efforts in this regard are not just concentrated on syllabuses, worksheets and our internal examinations. School management is of the view that the standard of English education should be evaluated independently on a regular basis through world renowned institutions.
As such, we had invited British Council academic directors to our school. They examined our syllabus, text books, compiled workbooks and teaching methods and were pleased to let our school children be evaluated under YLE examination system. YLE (Young Learners English) is conducted by Cambridge University, England under British Council Al Khobar’s supervision.
This program is NOT MANDATORY for the students but we recommend that your child is evaluated on a regular basis. This will help the child in his future IGCSE examinations and university admissions. We will be conducting first examinations end September 2006 and thereafter every year in May. Cambridge University will be giving certificates for the successful candidates.
If you want your child to be registered in the evaluation program please get in touch with the office or the class coordinators. Detailed information is attached for your easy reference.
Best Regards
Shobha Anand
